Via the City Deals programme, led by the Dutch Ministry of Internal Affairs, local governments and city councils are enabled to collaborate and share best practices concerning local challenges such as safety, clean technology, building a local circular economy or dealing with housing shortages.

Every City Deal is managed by a program manager, who develops the exchange of ideas and practices with their own portfolio of cities. However, the program managers themselves do not have a way to share and discuss their methods and experiences with implementing City Deals.

On request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Studio-Strik develops a community of practice that enables the program managers to share their knowledge and knowhow. Right now, this long-term development project is in its start-up phase. Studio-Strik is looking forward to collaborate on this project together with the Ministry, Urban Future Studio and Platform 31.
